About me

A little about me.... My name is Kitty and i am a self taught webdesigner ,  jewellery maker and all round crafter. I enjoy varieties of crafts including :		* Me & my fiance Johnny* He has Fibromyalgia so its a constant struggle  between the two of us healthwise :-) but we always find a way!
Flower arranging (havent done for years) Soap making Pyrography Carpentry Sewing Knitting Beadery Baking Cooking Stenciling Scrapbooking Drawing		* Yes its a witches hat* Im Wiccan , have been for as long as i can remember even through childhood before i should of been able to  "know"what the spirituality meant.   And iv always had a fondness for Halloween even though technically what we call Halloween these days isnt how it should be!

I also love to spend time with my 3 special needs cats [see *About the cats *] and 2 hamsters (one Syrian , called Peggy and one Roborovski called Dash).

I have had Agoraphobia since i was in my teens (so thats atleast 7 years!) and find it difficult to do some of the things that most people find basic / everyday / normal.
For instance , i cant talk on the phone to anyone other than family , and occasionally not even then! - i know , it sounds fake.... but it makes me quite ill and panicky if i am forced into it!
Most people who think of Agoraphobia , usually say " oh yes i know what that is ,
 its where your scared to leave the house - whats so scary about that!?".
Like with most illnesses it doesnt effect everyone in the same way , its a case of circumstances and causes.
My personal take on it is that i get a very knotted tummy , dizzyness and nausia if confronted with the prospect
of having to go to a meeting / interview / meet someone new ,  or even just go to the shops.
It doesnt happen EVERY time but i havent been having good episodes lately  , mostly bad , so *ashamed to say* its been nearly a year since i went out properly.

I have been on car trips , and the occasional trip to a shop ( pets@home) but im left feeling utterly panic stricken and feeling dizzy / sick so have to shoot back to the car!
The worst thing about having my own "version" of it , is that it makes you feel trapped , alone and ashamed :-) , for all the family holidays ruined (not being able to go out once youv got to the caravan site etc) making family members have to run around for you (shopping etc) and ofcourse for the important things like getting a "Real job".

So anyway i have started to list some of the pieces of jewellery . soaps and craft supplies that i have accumilated over the years from my hobbies and am hoping to make some cash , and maybe meet a few new people along the way!
